*Waving Planets* is a concept album that employs the language of cosmology, astrophysics, and science fiction to tell a deeply human story: the loss of identity, the confrontation with time, the disillusionment of adulthood, and the possibility of rebirth.

The work unfolds as a journey through an existential "event horizon." Much like an object drawn toward a black hole, the protagonist crosses a threshold beyond which nothing can ever be the same: failed relationships, shattered dreams, betrayals, depression, nostalgia, and a profound sense of disorientation become the gravitational forces that warp their reality. The album moves constantly across two parallel narrative levels. On one hand, there is the macrocosm: dying stars, nebulae, singularities, and universes that collapse and are reborn. On the other, the microcosm of human experience: fleeting romances, lost friendships, internal crises, memories that turn into obsessions, and the painful awareness of the passage of time. The central thesis of the work is that these two worlds are, in fact, one and the same. The very laws that govern the universe also govern the emotional lives of individuals. Relationships orbit one another and fall apart; memories exert gravity; identities collapse and are rebuilt. Throughout the course of their existence, every human being crosses multiple event horizons.

In terms of sound, the primary influences can be traced back to the post-progressive rock movement that emerged between the 1990s and the 2000s—most notably bands such as Porcupine Tree, Pain of Salvation, Leprous, and Haken—as well as to the genre’s pioneers, including Rush, King Crimson, and Pink Floyd. Other influences can be found in the work of bands like Muse, A Perfect Circle, M83, and Radiohead.
