I asked myself why, after so many years, I still find myself writing, playing, and recording. I asked myself why I can't do without it, and why, despite everything, I've spent almost my entire life doing these things. The answer is that I need it to feel good, I need to express something that perhaps comes from very far away. That's why I approached "Historie du'un enfant," trying to observe life through the eyes of a child who dreams of expressing his emotions through music. Hence the idea for a song that describes his journey.

The trio I formed with Massimo Artiglia and Umberto Mari, longtime friends, is the foundation of this album, as it has been on other recordings where we've shared the same musical ideas and the same way of feeling. But the circle extends to other friends without whom we could not have realized the project: singer Mamoú Rasta Fané from Mali, Mario Petracca and Masato Inoue from Japan on guitar, Silvia Bonino on harp, and Antonio Santoro on flute.
