D-BRANE (= Dirichlet brane: a brane that fills all of space, has the same dimensionality as space itself, and extends to infinity).
In the ultimate theory of everything that unifies the four forces of nature, countless point-like elementary particles—like strings—orbit throughout the universe, expanding and contracting in specific ways across various dimensions.
Even music, a dynamic entity of countless dimensions that propagates through space-time, vibrates beyond every boundary, spreading endlessly like musical particles (Music Beyond Boundaries). This is the D-BRANE of Arti & Mestieri.
A studio album produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the band’s foundation.
Since their debut in 1974, ARTI & MESTIERI have been praised worldwide as one of the most representative Italian progressive rock/jazz-rock bands.
This album features brand-new original tracks written by all the composers who have contributed to the band from their first album to the present day—artists who have written on every album in the band’s history over the span of half a century.
Furthermore, all the musicians who have performed on every album released over the past 50 years reunited for these sessions and appear across the entire project.
An album “produced and released with an ARTI & MESTIERI all-star cast of composers and performers” is a monumental achievement—and perhaps a world first in the history of music.
