Ma.Ra.Cash. Records is releasing "Remastered Collection" by Malibran. This collection offers a comprehensive history of the group's recording career on a single CD, whether you're already familiar with the band, have a few albums, or are simply curious about the band.
Not in chronological order, the disc offers at least two tracks from each of our albums, with the exception of a single excerpt from the first album, "The Wood of Tales," featuring the instrumental track of the same name. This album was recorded in 1989 and released the following year on black, red, and green vinyl. This was followed by 1998's "Nuvole di Vetro," "I Know Your Soul"—recorded in late 1991 and released in 1993—2001's "Si Dirà di Me," which premiered in the US at "ProgDay" the previous year, "Trasparenze," which won the 2009 "Prog Award" for best Italian progressive rock track of that year, "La Città sul Lago," from the 1998 self-titled third album, "Magica Attesa," from the same album, 2001's "In Viaggio"—the album itself is "Oltre l'Ignoto"—and finally, a new mix of 1993's "Livin'Alone."
As with "I Know Your Soul," this is an excerpt from "Le Porte del Silenzio," an album praised primarily for the 27-minute suite of the same name and ranked among the top ten Italian progressive rock albums by the respected magazine "Prog Italia." A collection I'm truly proud of.
