THE IKAN METHOD is a project created by Luca Grosso, drummer and composer with numerous collaborations both live and in the studio with big names in international progressive rock.
The group's first album is called "Blue Sun" and was released in 2020 and received excellent reviews in Italy and abroad.
Perfect Tyranny is the second album and is inspired by the progressive rock of the 80s and 90s, therefore very melodic and catchy pieces but at the same time very energetic, with influences both tending towards metal and AOR, sometimes dissonant, but always with a own personality.
The lyrics deal with how more and more, in the digital age, the individual is treated as an entity who must be controlled and educated to consume, without having thoughts that diverge from the single thought in general. From this concept arise questions and considerations in people who, knowing that they cannot totally escape the system, try to live consciously by passing through the meshes of this global network in which they are trapped.
