Con il mondo della musica colpito dalla pandemia del covid-19, tutte le band sono state costrette a interrompere i tour, ma gli artisti di tutto il mondo non hanno smesso di scrivere e registrare musica. Così ha fatto Dimitri Sardini, membro di lunga data e chitarrista della prog band italiana Moongarden. Il progetto Youthopia vede la luce durante il periodo di lock down nel 2020 con Dimitri Sardini che registra circa 2 ore di nuove e vecchie idee musicali. Con gli arrangiamenti e la produzione artistica di Cristiano Roversi, queste idee si sono trasformate in un album di 10 brani e 70 minuti che esplora vari generi musicali, dagli strumentali per chitarra, all'hard rock e alla modern classic suite prog .

Con Dimitri Sardini dei Moongarden (autore di tutta la musica e dei testi) alle chitarre, Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwie Malmsteen, Soto, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Sons of Apollo, Journey, Talisman e molti altri) alla voce, Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, The Aristocrats, Guthrie Govan, Tony Levin, Jordan Rudes e molti altri) alla batteria, Cristiano Roversi (Moongarden, Submarine Silence, John Wetton, Bernardo Lanzetti, Saro Cosentino e molti altri) alle tastiere, l'album "Misha's Journey" di YOUTHOPIA diventa un vero e proprio viaggio nel rock&prog e nella sperimentazione strumentale della chitarra.

Dai trucchi con la chitarra elettrica di Dimitri Sardini su Uncle Joe, ai brani rock classici e moderni come The Muse o Stay Human che confermano Jeff Scott Soto è ancora il re dei cantanti rock, dalla precisa batteria di Marco Minnemann che si adatta perfettamente ad ogni contesto musicale, alla varie interpretazioni stilistiche di Roversi che può tranquillamente spaziare da Jon Lord a Tony Banks, “Misha's Journey” è l'album perfetto per chi ama il rock, le chitarre urlanti e la musica prog dagli anni '80 ai giorni nostri.
