Almost a year after its release on CD, here is the splendid vinyl version of Bernardo Lanzetti's latest album - The Voice of Italian Prog.

Horizontal Rain is the rain that comes upon us, in full face, surprising and disorienting us, stimulating us to new strategies: an album of different and unpredictable musical adventures with which Bernardo Lanzetti celebrates a crazy career and numbers with 120 songs / compositions to his credit important.

Conceived and created over a few years with illustrious collaborators and guests, the work is presented as a collection of musical episodes that start from Prog and arrive at the Avant-garde, passing through Modern Opera, Art Rock, Rock & Soul and Classix 2B where Bernardo, as a true vocalist, makes available “all his voices”.

In the album, passion, detached nostalgia, fury and irony unfold track after track with a mix of sounds as unpredictable as they are effective: David Jackson's baritone sax replacing the double bass in Lanzhaiku or Tony Levin's unmistakable stick in Heck Jack.

Marco Colombo's pressing guitars in Genial! where not even Andalusia is neglected or those of Andrea Cervetto, stabbing in the desperate appeal of Walk Away, which finds, in contrast, the poignant violin by David Cross.
