Rovescio Della Medaglia is an italian band formed in the ‘70s. Arrangements of their previous album were the work of Maestro Luis Enriquez Bacalov. The work refers to the genre symphonic prog rock and a few times it was performed live as the band remained active until 1976. The Backhand back in 2011 and subsequently in 2013, forty years since the release of contamination, the band comes up with a new line-up from Enzo Vita (one of the historic components), Daniele Pomo, Massimo Pomo, Maurizio Meo, Riccardo Romano (RanestRane) and participated to Italian Progressive Rock Festival in Tokyo. In this occasion, this CD is recorded live in Tokyo with minor variations that make it modern and current, and finally runs live with orchestra. Live in Tokyo is the album of the comeback of the Roman prog band which is now ready to revive the fans of the genre the typical sound that made them famous.
