"Caronte 50 Years Later" es el nuevo álbum de estudio de The Trip liderado por el histórico baterista y líder Pino "Caronte" Sinnone.

El histórico disco Caronte, lanzado en 1971, habría cumplido 50 años y para la ocasión fue resonado en su totalidad por la nueva formación de la banda con un sonido más actual. Hoy la banda cuenta con Andrea "Ranfa" Ranfagni (voz), Carmine Capasso (voz, guitarras, sitar, theremin), Tony Alemanno (bajo, coros), Andrea "Dave" D'Avino (hammond, piano, coros).

El disco producido por Carmine Capasso contiene el inédito "Acheronte".

El viaje. Absolutamente sorprendente… No es fácil volver a proponer discos que han hecho historia sin correr el riesgo de despojarlos de su frescura original. La nueva formación, gracias a Pino Sinnone, lo hizo genial: sin arrepentimientos, solo un dulce recuerdo de las escrituras originales, por supuesto para seguir escuchando en paralelo.
