MICROVERTICALE is the last chapter of a musical triptych. Conceived as the natural consequence of UNDERTRACK (2021) and NEXT STOP (2024), it is characterized by the shift of sound in a more essential and experimental direction, compared to the previous CDs.

It was conceived as a concept album. Many songs are born from the sole sound of the trumpet, which is often transformed through electronics and repeated in loops that, at times, become almost obsessive. It is an intense and tormented search for micromelodies that emerge and intertwine with improvisations. A recurring theme returns in three different tracks, like a thin thread that ties them together.

Massimo Berizzi cultivates an ideal direction towards contaminations, mixtures of electronic and acoustic sounds, in which the different approaches are enhanced.
