Nadir, the third full-length by Indianizer, is the conclusive step of a spontaneous and undeclared trilogy. If Neon Hawaii (2015) told a journey about finding a hidden place under the sun and Zenith (2018) was about following the light through the darkness, Nadir investigates unsolved mysteries and unrevealed truths. As the opposite of Zenith, Nadir works in a symmetrical way. Dark visions and melancholic atmospheres permeate the entire album: Cleopatra as the unreachable and imaginary queen of your dreams you can’t have, monkeys and sphinxes dancing on the moon, traps down the hole, skies falling and Earth burning. We all live in the new millennium labyrinth. Concerning its nature, world rhythms are still the focus of Indianizer's new music, moving to a middle Eastern disco attitude without setting aside South-American and African vibes. The raw sound is the result of a mix between tape recorded live sessions and digital recorded overdubs. Nadir is an album thought for live shows and born aboard dancefloors.
