After performing together at the RosFest in Philadelphia USA in 2009, with Mangala Vallis, Bernardo Lanzetti (Acqua Fragile, PFM) and Cristiano Roversi (Moongarden, Submarine Silence) have been partners in CCLR, the electro-acustic trio signed by UK label Esoteric Recording.
On the side, Cris has called Bernardo to be vocalist and lyricist on his solo album “Antiqua” and now they are coming out with a new project, simply a duo:
“Lanzetti & Roversi”.
Developing and carrying further on the most originals styles and themes of their music, still related to the Progresssive world, they have recorded a unique new album called “QUASI ENGLISH” also featuring a peculiar and theatrical use of English and Italian languages.
On the title track “Quasi English” and on “Worn To A Shine” wizard drummer Jonathan Mover is special guest.
Erik Montanari and Fabio Serra and Mirko Ravenoldi played guitars, Michele Smiraglio and Mirko Tagliasacchi played bass and the band Catafalchi del Cyber recorded additional vocals on “Quasi English”. Simone Baldini Tosi played violin.
Lanzetti and Roversi’s new CD and Vinyl, Maracash Records, are out now.
