Back in 1973, Bernardo Lanzetti , with the band "Acqua Fragile", recorded the famous self-titled album that has become a cult.
This year, to celebrate forty years of music and voice, an important and significant event has been created: the concert VOX 40, held on 28th May 2013 at the Park Theatre (Parma, Italy).
In this concert, the long career of Bernardo Lanzetti was rivisited throughout, with many guests and friends, mainly focusing on progressive material.
One of the highlights has been “Acqua Fragile per Orchestra” where Tango Spleen, a small orchestra conducted by pianist Mariano Speranza, usually devoted to Argentinian Tangos, has been performing Acqua Fragile music turning out to be a very successful Prog experiment, a very unique sound also supported by original AF members Franz Dondi and Piero Canavera.
The other key features were, of course Bernardo’s “voice impossible” on PFM tracks backed up by the “Chocolate Kings Band” with special guest Franco Taulino (Beggar’s Farm) on flute, as well as avant-garde episodes including the reknown Glovox and some of the latest “CCLR” songs.
VOX 40 has been recorded in audio and video and is now available in a box set collecting the CD “Acqua Fragile per Orchestra” as well as the full concert DVD plus a 16 page booklet to testify the long and articulated event, gathering on stage Bernardo Lanzetti and 23 fine different musicians.
