This double DVD + CD by Quanah Parker collects both video and audio versions of nine tracks from this band, performed live during the first three editions (2016, 2017 and 2018) of the Rock Progressive Festival organized with great success and audience attendance by Giovanni Pirrotta and Riccardo Scivales at the ASTRA Metropolitan Theater in San Donà di Piave (Venice). The training here present is that of 2016-2018, with the leader Riccardo Scivales on keyboards, Giovanni Pirrotta on the electric guitar, Elisabetta Montino solo voice, Valentina Papa dance and choreography, Paolo Ongaro on drums, and Alberto Palù (2016) or Alessandro Simeoni (2017 and 2018) on the bottom. The album opens with the suggestive unpublished Intrada — For the stairs, chasing the Fairies !, which will be part of the new Quanah album. The other tracks (already released in the studio versions on the albums Quanah! —Diplodisc, 2012 — and Suite of Fantastic Animals — MP & Records, 2015) are among the most representative and appreciated of this band, like A Big Francesco (dedicated to the memory of the great Francesco Di Giacomo del Banco), Sailor Song, After the Rain, Asleep, Silly Fairy Tale and the successful Suite of Fantastic Animals, very articulate and about half an hour long. And again Death Of A Deer and Quanah Parker, important because they were composed in the early Eighties, and then at the dawn of the Neo-Prog movement, of which the Quanah of the time were among the first pioneers. In addition to the strictly executive and musical aspect, the DVD allows us to appreciate one of the characteristics that distinguish this band, that is the suggestive integration between music and dance, stage costumes and scenographic video backdrops that further enhance the imaginative and “visual” aspect peculiar of so much music Prog. Among the "goodies" on the DVD, there are also three groups of special and impressive films: "From the stage" Special Videoclips, each dedicated to keyboards, guitar and drums, with Scivales, Pirrotta and Ongaro shot close together, from backstage, so that those who watch the DVD have the impression of "being there" and "living" himself the concert alongside the musician who is playing. The splendid graphic of this DVD + CD has been realized by Maurizio Sant (LS Production), author also of the filming and editing of all these videos (except the Suite ...), and of the elaboration and projection of the fascinating scenographic backdrops in the 2017 edition of the Festival.
