Movion is an instrumental trio formed in Turin in 2012 by Antonio Vomera (bass, synth), Alessandro Angeleri (drums, drum machine), and Nicolò Tamagnone (guitar).

The project's artistic commitment aims to combine and synergize synthetic atmospheres and acoustic soundscapes, through a sonic narrative strongly driven by emotion and psychedelia. Their sound is characterized by the juxtaposition of typical post-rock elements with those of experimental electronics. The delicate melodies and dreamy atmospheres that often introduce the compositions gradually intensify until they reach powerful and distorted explosions of sound, creating soundscapes rich in dynamics. The interplay of bass riffs, synth and guitar melodic lines, and monolithic drum patterns give rise to songs with a cathartic and cinematic flavor.

Their self-titled debut album, "Movion," released in 2015, was ranked among the top 10 best Italian alternative music releases by the webzine "Impatto Sonoro."

In 2018, the band released "Blank," their second studio album. Today, they release their third album, "Vertice." This work represents the culmination of a process spanning several years, during which the band worked to develop and evolve the sound of their previous album, strengthening the duality between instrumental and electronic, between technical rationality and emotional expression. Vertice also features audio excerpts from George Orwell, John Berger, and John Cage, addressing themes ranging from hypotheses about the fate of society in a dystopian and emotionless near future, to the consequences of technological development and its impact on human relationships, to the aesthetics and expressiveness of pure noise and moving images, thoughtfully collected in a sonic canvas that makes the band's work feel as timely as ever.
