„Past and Present“ ist das dritte Soloalbum von Kimmo Pörsti (The Samurai of Prog, Paidarion, Mist Season, Bernard und Pörsti). The Past wird durch 5 Songs präsentiert, die zwischen 2004 - 2016 zu unterschiedlichen Anlässen veröffentlicht wurden, einige davon jetzt komplett überarbeitet. The Present wird lebendig durch 6 neue Songs, komponiert von Kimmo (mit Hilfe von Rafael Pacha) und einem von Jari Riitala. Wie bei Kimmos vorherigem Album "Wayfarer" reicht die Musik von symphonischem Prog bis hin zu groovigen Fusion-Instrumentals, nicht zu vergessen auch einige folkloristische Elemente.
