Five years after the release of “Songs From The Harbour,” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Dark Companion Records in the worst possible way, here’s a second collection of musical sketches, ideas or, more honestly, solipsistic nocturnal sessions during which I gather my few thoughts, exploring sounds, reverbs,
and electroacoustic refractions. I notice that some of these songs, beyond their usual introspective and melancholic intent, somehow hark back to winter or late autumn, perhaps because I was born during a heavy snowfall in a foggy November eons ago. If I can convey this feeling to you, it means this album has served a purpose. Over these ten years of activity, Dark Companion has grown, and thanks to it I’ve met wonderful people, musicians with insatiable curiosity, amazing sound engineers, photographers, music lovers, souls filled with desire and grace. And it is to all of them that this humble work of mine is dedicated.
