Music is more than just entertainment: for millennia, it has had therapeutic and healing value. It can be used collectively in ceremonies or individually as a healing practice. The music of The Sacred Tree was created to reintroduce an "ancient" way of experiencing music, typical of Native American peoples and forgotten by Western culture.
In this conception, the artist acts as a healer serving the community: there is no room for the ego, which loses meaning and represents the greatest obstacle in its path. Serving a higher purpose requires, first and foremost, unceasing inner work, because one cannot heal others without first starting to heal oneself.
The Band — Artistic Mission
Being on a path of reconciliation changes our perception of who we are and is a lifelong mission. Making music beyond this point has nothing to do with external recognition: it means touching the lives of those in need.
The musicians brought together in this project have the ability to create Humana music as a result of who they have become. For the first time, they have come together, sharing their skills in a project designed to enhance them as they use their talents to care for the audience.
Every song tells a story, and every performance is a ceremony. There is no separation between musicians and audience: as long as listening remains anchored in the present moment, something special happens during a live performance. Listeners become part of the ceremony, amplifying the energy born from the music; consequently, musicians and audience become one. The energy produced in this state has the potential to be beneficial for everyone involved in the experience.
