Forme Libere is the debut album by Aliante, an Italian instrumental progressive rock trio formed in 2017. The band, composed of musicians from Pisa and Livorno, offers sounds ranging from jazz to classic prog, recalling historic groups such as Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
With a solid, competent, and creative rhythmic foundation, with Alfonso Capasso on bass and Jacopo Giusti on drums, the group relies on Enrico Filippi's keyboards.
The album was recorded live, like a concert, in just four days, in a studio in Montopoli Val d'Arno.
One of the finest works of recent years, it marked the beginning of a truly important story.
