Con el mundo de la música golpeado por la pandemia de covid-19, todas las bandas se han visto obligadas a dejar de hacer giras, pero los artistas de todo el mundo no han dejado de escribir y grabar música. Lo mismo hizo Dimitri Sardini, miembro y guitarrista de la banda progresiva italiana Moongarden. El proyecto Youthopia ve la luz durante el período de bloqueo en 2020 con Dimitri Sardini grabando alrededor de 2 horas de ideas musicales nuevas y antiguas. Con los arreglos y la producción artística de Cristiano Roversi, estas ideas se transformaron en un álbum de 10 canciones y 70 minutos de duración que explora varios géneros musicales, desde instrumentos de guitarra hasta hard rock y suite progresiva clásica moderna.

Con Dimitri Sardini de Moongarden (autor de toda la música y letras) a las guitarras, Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwie Malmsteen, Soto, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Sons of Apollo, Journey, Talisman y muchos otros) a las voces, Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, The Aristocrats, Guthrie Govan, Tony Levin, Jordan Rudes y muchos otros) a la batería, Cristiano Roversi (Moongarden, Submarine Silence, John Wetton, Bernardo Lanzetti, Saro Cosentino y muchos otros) a los teclados, el álbum "Misha's Journey" de YOUTHOPIA se convierte en un verdadero viaje hacia el rock&prog y la experimentación con la guitarra instrumental.

Desde los trucos de guitarra eléctrica de Dimitri Sardini en Uncle Joe, hasta canciones de rock clásico y moderno como The Muse o Stay Human que confirman que Jeff Scott Soto sigue siendo el rey de los cantantes de rock, desde la precisa batería de Marco Minnemann que se adapta perfectamente a cada contexto musical, hasta el Con diversas interpretaciones estilísticas de Roversi que pueden variar fácilmente desde Jon Lord hasta Tony Banks, “Misha's Journey” es el álbum perfecto para aquellos que aman el rock, las guitarras estridentes y la música progresiva desde los años 80 hasta la actualidad.
