Here is the new musical project by The Samurai of Prog and my incipit tends to retrace the same concepts that I propose every time and which refer to the prolificacy of the group, to their skills, to the ability to involve musicians scattered around the planet, to the essence progressive music.
But this time there is something new because Marco Bernard and Kimmo Pörsti, maximum promulgators of the idea that drives the musical Samurai now scattered around the world, leave great space to the composer and multi-instrumentalist Marco Grieco, in the past mainly collaborator, but on the occasion composer in full (an intense hour of progressive music) of a musical journey that also sees him as a natural interpreter, together with Bernard (bass) and Pörsti (drums), and a full-bodied and virtuous "crew" made up of some the best international progressive musicians I'm going to list:
- Marco Bernard / Shuker basses
- Marco Grieco / keyboards, acoustic and electric guitars, ukulele, backing vocals
- Kimmo Pörsti / drums & percussion
With:
- Clive Nolan / vocals
- Juhani Nisula / acoustic and electric guitars
- Marek Arnold / alto and soprano saxes
- Bart Schwertmann / vocals
- Sara Traficante / flute
- Ruben Alvarez / electric guitar
- Yogi Lang / vocals
- Steve Unruh / violin and flute
- Bruce Botts / electric guitar
- Rafael Pacha / acoustic and classical guitars, Uillean pipes, recorder
