Ya está disponible “The giant within”, el nuevo álbum de Mike Bertoli's Avatar.

Ocho canciones con diferentes alineaciones, con invitados relevantes como Goran Edman, Ian Parry, Nicolas Pandolfi, Rob Della Frera, Luca Sellitto, Val Shieldon y Giacomo Calabria.

En algunos temas hay miembros de la Hot Cherry Band: Jacopo “Jack” Mascagni, Stefano “Jaghe” Morandini y, sobre todo, Nik Capitini que también grabó, mezcló y masterizó el disco.

Una especie de caos organizado, donde todo está al servicio de las canciones y nada se deja al azar. Hard rock y heavy metal, como la vieja escuela Judas Priest y Iron Maiden, son los pilares del álbum, pero también hay influencias de thrash y groove (Megadeth y Pantera) y contaminaciones progresivas como Dream Theater y Fates Warning.

“The giant within” es un álbum conceptual enfocado en el crecimiento personal, lleno de sorpresas y donde se destierra el aburrimiento.
