A decisive step forward, a new milestone in the extraordinary discography of Lino Capra Vaccina. An album of iridescent introspection; a mandala of unprecedented sounds, a new way for contemporary minimalism.

My collaboration with Lino led me to discover crevices, reflections and refractions of music that I did not know or, worse, neglected. Thanks to our professional and artistic collaboration, a sincere personal friendship extended to my family has also been born: from Lino there has always been some discrete advice, a subdued and authoritative food for thought in so many difficult moments. When we go into the studio for a new album, I wonder where it can go considering the quality and the previous job search. Each time, including the present one, the surprise of the unexpected path taken opens up new ones for me horizons.

To the percussion and vibraphone Lino adds the piano and immediately bends the essences, the mechanics and the woods to his own unique semantics. Lino Capra Vaccina's piano is “his of him” and profoundly different. A classic instrument that becomes a new probe to explore the infinite interstices that envelop sound and silence.
