Nuovo stupendo album per Alex Carpani che affronta un argomento attuale abbinandoci una musica attuale, reale, moderna pur mantenendo il legame con la tradizione. Un album da non perdere !! Sicuramente il migliore di Carpani giunto al suo quarto cd. Il titolo dell'album riprende il concetto che ha ispirato l'intera opera: le cose e persone appaiono spesso così vicino, mentre sono distanti, soprattutto nel mondo 'virtuale' globale e nella vita di tutti i giorni. L'incomunicabilità aumenta le distanze tra le persone, l'auto-alienazione aumenta l'isolamento di un individuo dal resto del mondo e la tecnologia permette che queste conseguenze drammatiche accadano. Tuttavia gli esseri umani hanno il potere di evitare tutte queste cose ascoltando il loro cuore e vivendo la loro vita reale. Very nice vocals, and good song writing. I liked the quiet, moody sections with the electric piano. Your record overall sounds very strong!
