This exciting musical journey that we propose is born from the eclectic and stylistic personality of Maestro Guido Gressani. A composer, drummer and percussionist, Gressani has embraced this musical philosophy and feels perfectly at home in this area. To accompany the Maestro there is a formation of ten elements, a well-tested band that sees beside, besides the faithful companions of adventure Paolo Ricca (Keyboards), Gianni Virone (Saxes / flute) and Andrea Manzo (Basso), also talented musicians of the national panorama such as: Giuseppe Virone (1st Trumpet), Igor Vigna (2nd Trumpet), Aldo Caramellini (Trombone), Simone Arlorio (Tenorsax / clarinet), Alfredo Ponissi (Saxes / flute), Alberto Occhiena (Vibraphone / percussion). Basically the CD proposes the atmosphere of the "Concept Album" of the 70s in which all the musical pieces revolved around a single theme developing a whole story that was proposed in live performances or on vinyl. Respecting the art of "fusion" as a meeting of different styles, the music offers moments of jazz, latin, funk, refined pop and classic atmospheres. The warm and enveloping sounds make this work a unique listening experience, an album of artistic quality and cultural depth, but at the same time suitable for every type of user. The band is able to bring different influences into their stylistic universe. We move from swing to Latin rhythms, from funk to classic, where the execution of the theme by Erik Satie "I and II Movement" will involve listeners in an extraordinary and unique musical journey.
