Reconciling Venegoni & Co, a group that had been practically inactive since 1980 (except for the parenthesis of the CD 88 Nocturne) appeared to me as a frightening and fascinating enterprise at the same time.

 The passion and desire to make music of people like Piero Mortara, of all the musicians involved and, last but not least, of Beppe Crovella was decisive to convince me of the fact that I could still try.

After almost a year of work here is "Planetarium" that I hope will be worthy successor of Sarabanda, still my favorite musical work.

The song "La luna sopra Dogliani" is dedicated to that magical band and in particular to the composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi, the magical place of the Langhe where part of the music of Sarabanda was born. The song Bibuschka was composed specifically for my life partner, Bibi Venegoni.

I sincerely hope you can love this music at least half of how much we all liked to compose and perform it.
