We are in the first half of the 70s, in the province of Verona and a group of friends decided to start a theater group, which mixes acting with music, a blend of tradition and innovation. Thus was born The New Creation, who wrote his definitive work "Harleking" where Arlecchino is just an excuse to tell generational conflicts, conflicts and thoughts that haunt us forever, and much more. The seed left from that experience continued to sprout, many of those players have never abandoned the music, such as the trumpeter Fernando Brusco (RAI orchestra), the master Leonardo Morelato, guitarist David Cremoni (Moongarden, Submarine Silence), the jazz musician Luca Donini, designers and Antonio Gustavo Rebonato Chiavegato and others, and those who like simple, but strong passion, as the guitarist / engineer / journalist Gianluca Renoffio (Paperlate magazine). "Harleking" came back to life and is now available in a beautiful album of twelve songs (plus two bonus), supported by a graphically beautiful book, which helps in the understanding and development of the work. A charming music that fish so much from the Italian progressive rock era, with cues to operetta and references to the classic melodic song, with some tracks, like "Il faccendiere", "Perchè ridete?", "Il convincimento" with the beautiful and handsome voice of Sergio Renier in the foreground, the melancholic "Prologo in MIb", "Le figlie di Harleking" with two beautiful female voices on the front and "La burla" exalted by Simone Baldini Tosi of Moongarden, which among others remain engraved in my heart. There is no longing in this project, but just real emotion. (Gianni Della Cioppa)
