Five years after the death of FRANCESCO DI GIACOMO "The missing part" comes out, which collects
fourteen songs of rare poetry, original and unpublished. Composed by the singer between 2004 and 2012, with music by Paolo Sentinelli, who had worked with Di Giacomo for ten years (besides having already worked with the Bank of mutual aid for the album "13").
"The missing part" is a deep, romantic, ironic, hard, selfless album, different in the vision of a world "beyond", perhaps not realizable but no less true. A record so pregnant, important, visceral but absolutely considered, comes at a time when the author is no longer there. The only benefit that Francesco Di Giacomo will derive from is that of delivering to the world the last card, definitive and indispensable to compose the overall design of his personality as an artist and man: "The missing part", precisely. Which is no small thing, because these scanty lines are not the tribute to a person who died prematurely, but the sincere attestation for a record as rarely happens to hear. An unforgettable voice for the words of an author whose value, paradoxically, is put at risk by the spell of his own vocal art. You would like to say that it is a masterpiece. But yes, in the face of so much Italic inconsistency passed off as such, let's face it. Without hesitation.
