Alberto Molesini, aka Baro, is a bassist, poli-instrumentist, singer and composer. He took his first artistic steps at the end of the Seventies, forming the group "La Sintesi", in an attempt to give his contribution to progressive rock of big names as King Crimson or Yes.
In 1980 Baro writes "Lucillo & Giada" to feed the band's live repertoire. It is a concept, a sort of rock opera that transposes in fantapolitics key the experiences and choices of his adolescence, an unripe but ambitious project. In 1983 "Topic Würlenio" provides new live material for La Sintesi. "Tracce di un’Avventura" is published on vinyl on a compilation by Radio Studio 94.
In the 90s he widens his musical vision cooperating with groups such as Hydra and the pop-metal duo Elam (Baxnug). In the new millennium, with the help of new technologies, the numerous themes and ideas left undeveloped are resumed and "Utopie" comes out.
Since 2004 he plays with Marygold, a well-known Italian prog band, for their acclaimed second album "One Light Year" of 2017.
Driven by this experience, Baro decides to carry on the dream of seeing the prog-jets of youth come true. And so, with a work of respectful recovery but with new cues and arrangements, these jobs are coming to light one after the other.
"Lucillo & Giada" and "Topic Würlenio" are coming out in January 2019 in double package, published by Andromeda Relix (with MaRaCash Records distribution).
