Es ist 17 Jahre her, dass AINUR beschlossen hat, Tolkiens Meisterwerk "The Silmarillion" in Musik umzuwandeln. Jedes Mitglied der Band war in seine eigene kompositorische Betonung versunken, inspiriert von der Tolkien-Mythologie. Wie hypnotisiert begannen sie, alle Themen der Hauptfiguren ausführlich zu komponieren und sich das kolossale Konzept vorzustellen, an dem sie bisher gearbeitet hatten. Das mit Spannung erwartete neue Album "War of The Jewels" wird von Rockshots Records veröffentlicht und lässt die Band eine interessante Entwicklung gegenüber früheren Veröffentlichungen beginnen. Der Kompositionsprozess von "War of The Jewels" war sehr lang. Es begann 2009 (oder noch früher) und endete vor weniger als einem Jahr. Ainur sieht dies als das Album der Wiedergeburt.
